Cassper Nyovest Ties the Knot (For Real, This Time)

After much debate on the subject, Cassper Nyovest has officially settled down with his childhood friend, Pulane Mojaki.

The pair tied the knot in relatively modest proceedings on Saturday, 6 April. While his guests kept their lips tight on the location, they were quick to share pictures and videos of the two lovebirds as they danced their way through the lobola festivities, a traditional wedding ceremony and an intimate reception.

However, not everyone was impressed with the event. Notorious gossip monger, Chris Excel, took to Twitter on Monday, 8 April, to poke some fun at the wedding, saying: “Cassper Nyovest is a Millionaire but he spend R37K for a wedding including Lobola to marry a baddie [sic].”

Others were more supportive of the newlyweds. “I m not a fan but love the fact that regardless the money and status Cassper Nyovest and Pulane opted to have a simple wedding surronded by both his and her family members rather than celebrities [sic],” tweeted Oscar Blaauw.

The nuptials news come just a month after the 33-year-old multi-award-winning rapper made fun of a “leaked” invitation that suggested he would be marrying Mojaki in their hometown of Mafikeng, North West, on 16 March.

According to reports, the wedding date was moved due to renovations on Mojaki’s mother’s home.
